Formula

FV = P x [ ((1 + i)^n - 1) / i ] x (1 + i)

In this future value formula for an annuity due, P is the regular monthly investment, i is the monthly periodic rate of return (annual rate divided by 12), and n is the total number of monthly contributions. It calculates compounding growth assuming investments are made at the beginning of each month.
